Hi,

i want to interface some digital signals between two systems (nearly 1m separation.signals are SP inetrfaceI ,LVTTL SIGNALS-20Nos.through cables i need to route the signals.for that i want to analyze the digital signal transmission through cables(.2 core Twisted pair cables).
SN74LVC8T245PWthis buffer iam using in Transmitter side(source side)
Kindly guide me to analyze the interface through cable
Hi Shiju,
you can use the IBIS model of the SN74LVC8T245 and simulate the 1m cable and its parasitic effects on the outputs / inputs of the device.
You may most likely need a series limiting resistor to deal with the overshoots and undershoots because of the reflections from the long cable length.
Let me know.
