Hi Team,

I have some question about FPD-Link:

  • Difference between GPIO, D-GPIO and GPIO-REG

GPIO can work in forward and back channel ans D-GPIO can only work in back channel in Dual Link？

GPIO-RES can just controlled by register in forward and back channel?

  • Difference between I2C pass through and pass through all?
  • In which application will customer use SPI?

    GPIO and D_GPIO can both work in forward and back channel. GPIOs are available in both single link and dual link operation. D_GPIOs are only available in dual link operation.

    GPIO_REG can only be controlled through Registers.

    I2C Pass-through will forward I2C transactions only to remote device when the address match Slave Alias address settings.
    I2C Pass-through All will forward any I2C transactions to remote devices.

    SPI usage depends on the SoC.
