Hi, Team,

I am trying to set the Test pattern output on 954.

Then please advice me how I should complete the settings.

-Need to disconnect Ser board?

-If connecting Ser is still ok, can we change into Test Pattern mode dramatically from Ser connection?

Hello Koh,

1) when using the Pattern generator on the 954, it does not matter if you keep the Serializer connected or not.
2) can you clarify?

Hi, Hamzeh,

Can support to set Test Pattern Enable during Des is operating to output CSI data which is coming from Imager?

then we are expecting CSI output from Des is changed from Imager data to Test pattern data dramatically.

Hi Koh,

Yes, you can switch any time from normal operation to test pattern, but prior to enabling the Pattern Generator, the following steps should be done on the 954:

1. Disable video forwarding by setting bits [5:4] of the FWD_CTL1 register (i.e. set register 0x20 to 0x30).
2. Configure CSI-2 Transmitter operating speed using the CSI_PLL_CTL register.
3. Enable the CSI-2 Transmitter for port 0 using the CSI_CTL register
