DP83867CS: Power Supply configuration Dual or Tripple

I am really confused about the power supply configuration of DP83867CSRGZR. 

In the datasheet it is stated it can be operated with dual or tripple power supply.

I couldn't really figure out what would be advantage of using tripple supply and disadvantage of using dual supply.

It seams to be that there will not be any power supply sequencing with dual supply, so why should i really use tripple supply.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Kerem,

    The advantage of using triple supply is power savings. In dual supply mode, the internal 1.8V is regulated from 2.5V. So think of it as multiplication factor of 1.8x versus 2.5x when calculating power consumption.

    Dear Hung Nguyen,
    Thank you very much for your reply. Now I figured out the power configuration of the IC.
    I wish the datasheet had this information. At least clearly stated that the 1.8V is regulated from an internal regulator.
