TPS65987D: Programming the NOR Flash

My customer uses a NOR Flash in our TPS65987D design. The I2C bus is controlled by a small microcontroller. The microcontroller is connected to a large CPU running Linux via a UART. We will be writing a utility in Linux to program the NOR Flash over UART to the microcontroller and through to the NOR Flash over I2C.

There is some example code in the document "TPS65987DDH Firmware Update from Embedded Controller Over I2C". But they are incomplete. Document calls out another lit # SLVUBH2 (Which needs updated to SLVUBH2B I believe).

Question my customer has - do we have a more complete example for what they want to do? Ideally they would like source code for a complete utility that they can adapt.

Hi Viktorija,

We do not offer source code for our devices. The example code should be sufficient to get the customer up and running with their design. I'm not sure if you linked to the correct App Note. I would suggest checking the following app note instead: www.ti.com/.../slvae21.pdf

Thanks. That answers my question.
As far as lit number - in the www.ti.com/.../slvae21.pdf on page 4, there is a footnote "(1) Details in HI-TRM (SLVUBH2)" under the table. Link to that document is broken, and I believe should be linked to SLVUBH2B www.ti.com/.../slvubh2b.pdf
