DP83640: Compatibility problem

Hello.

Our product is a switchboard. The PC pings the IED through the switchboard and occasionally breaks the ping (10 strokes 1~2 pens),

And the switchboard with a non-DP83640 PHY in the middle of the switchboard will not ping lost. Is there any suggestion to solve this problem?

Hi AJ,

I will need some more information to understand the problem. Can you share a block diagram of how the three systems are connected to each other? And which of these systems uses the DP83640? Are you observing loss of ping packets when a different vendor PHY is connected to DP83640?
