Is the thermal pad internally connected in the device? Can it be connected to a GND plane?

    Hi Graeme,

    The thermal pad is not internally connected in this case, so it can either be connected to a GND plane or left floating. (Typically connecting to GND provides better thermal performance since the GND plane tends to take up more copper area on a PCB.)
