Hi,

In customer's system, DS250DF810 supports 100G-CR4 which follows IEEE802.3bj, in which it defines test requirement as listed below.  Could you provide tool and the related guide on how to implement the request as listed below? Thanks a lot.

  • Hi Oliver,

The DS250DF810 retimer does not implement state machine logic required to handle the IEEE link training function. The local host may instead manually set the retimer Tx FIR main, pre-cursor and post-cursor tap settings via I2C writes to retimer channel registers 0x3D through 0x3F. You may refer to the TI retimer programming guide for more details related to retimer channel registers. You can request access to technical documents such as the retimer programming guide via the TI.com product page.
