My customer is using our DP83640 in a new project. They met issue with getting the PTP message timestamp, below is some description, would you pls help review the code and help found out the issue:
But they met new issue that need your supportàNari-relay hope to put the PTP message into Level 2 message and then get the timestamp by reading the PTP_TXTS register from MDIO interface, however they always read back with “0” for the PTP_TXTS register and the TXTS_RDY register is also “0”. Would you pls help review below code or PTP message format and give some suggestions:
According datasheet, TXCFG0 and TXCFG1 were configured as below:
Then also configure PTP_STS register’s TXTS_IE bit as below:

BTW, customer tried to get the PTP message by using wireshark as below, kindly help check if the PTP message format is correct?
