I need to verify if the DS90UB953-Q1 can fit with the following configuration:

4208*3120, 20 fps and 10 bit only.

Hello,
from the data rate calculation, it could work. but please make sure the CSI2 output bandwidth of AR1335 in the 4208*3120@20fps&10bits mode, it is dependent on AR1335 internal timing control, if the CSI2 bandwidth is less than UB953's request (pls refer to d/s, the CSI2 input bandwidth is ref. clock freq. x128 = ~3.2Gbps).

Hi Steven,

So to support this bit-rate the AR1335 need to provide an output clock on its CSI-2 output of approx. 25MHz?

(3.2Gbps/128=25MHz)

Is that correct?

Not. pls check 953 d/s, it can support 3 clock refer. input:

1. internal VCO

2. synchronized from the backchannel

3. external 23-26MHz clock.

if the clock refer. input is 25MHz, then 953's CSI2 bandwidth is 25x128 = 3.2Gbps. please check the sensor's output CSI2 bandwidth, if it is following within 3.2Gbps, then UB953 can transmit this video signal.
