DS90CR288A: Receiver Switching Characteristics

Part Number: DS90CR288A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90CR287

Hi, team,

Could you please Receiver Switching Characteristics with f=50MHz?
(These characteristics in datasheet are for f=85MHz.)

Regards,
Nagata.

  • Hi Nagata-san,

We don't have characterization data for this device at 50MHz. You can use this application note to calculate some of the parameters yourself though: www.ti.com/.../snla249.pdf

    I.K.

Thank you for your support. But I cannot find the calcualtion equation to convert to f=50MHz in application note. Could you please give me calculation example of the receiver switching characteristics for f=50MHz?

    Regards,
    Nagata.

  • Hi Nagata,

You can view section 5.1 and 5.2 of the application note and use equations (1), (2), and (3) for an example. The maximum operating frequency should be used in determining the minimum RSKM value for all operating frequencies, so you do not need to calculate RSPos at 50MHz as it is not important.

If you are using the DS90CR287 with the DS90CR288A then this value is already listed in the datasheet and no calculations are necessary. If you are not using the DS90CR287, then you will need to calculate the RSKM yourself using section 5.2 of the application note as an example, as well as equations (1), (2), and (3).

    Regards,
    I.K.
