My customer would use SONY_ISX019(CMOS Image sensor) & Output is Parallel interface.

Can they use DS90UB913A ? or have another suggestion ?

I am adding some more information here. This application is for AVM system with TI DS90UB960 + 4 cameras. The cameras are set to use Sony ISX019 to work with serialzer to achieve 30fps of YUV 8-bit output.

Our question is: Can TI DS90UB913 meet the requirements?

Note: ISX019 data sheet said the max. pixel clock is 99MHz for 30fps YUV 8-bit parallel output.

Hello,

Yes the TI DS90UB913 device can work with the sensor you indicated. The device can support up to 100MHz PCLK when using the 10-bit mode. In your case, simply ensure all 8 bits of parallel output are connected to DIN[0:7] at the serializer.

Just wonder if you ever met the real AVM case using the combination of DS90UB960 + DS90UB913A. Is there any specific restriction we should notice during the developing?

Hello,

I'm not sure what you mean by AVM. However the 960+913 combination is certainly supported. As long as you follow the datasheets and recommendations there should be no issues. The 960 device is capable of significantly more bandwidth though, so customers typically used 964+913 or 962+913. 960 is usually used with the higher bandwidth 953 device.
