    Hello jerry,

    Please provide additional information as to what you are asking for.  I'm not clear on what you mean by a "chipset".  Is it a buffer/translator you are looking for or a complete RS485 system.

    Hi Jerry,

    Would something like SN65HVD888 suit your needs? It is an RS-485 transceiver with automatic polarity correction, so communications can still work whether the differential bus pair is wired normally or inverted. It has a high level of integrated ESD protection and supports communication up to 250 kbps among up to 256 nodes.
