This means that sometimes (rarely, but possibly) PHY could hang out while trying to negotiate 1000Base-X connection, and we need to relaunch negotiation. But what if we want to create passive switch, which will have no SMI-equipped host controller inside - are we able to reset PHY to get rid of this hangout? Will it help?
