DS90LV001: Input AC-Coupling

Dear Forum

Does the DS90LV001 provide its own input common mode voltage so that I can interface it to an existing LVDS line in AC-Style or do I definitely need DC Coupling to get the correct common mode voltage from the driver?

Hi Fabian,

DC coupling is definately preferred. There is no DC bias on the DS90LV001 input side. If AC coupling is needed, I would use a resistor divider and termination to set a DC bias locally on the DS90LV001 input.
