SN65LVDS822: Priority when fewer than 4 data lanes are used

Hi team,

When I use only 3 data LVDS lanes, can I use any 3 input LVDS channels? Or, are there any rule which lane I should use?

Hi Saito,

You can use any 3 data lanes. Take a look at Figure 16 in the datasheet. For example, you can have A3 unused and the output pins associated with that lane can be left open. Also, take a look at section 9.3.1 for instructions on what to do with unused LVDS data lanes.
