Hello.

Our startup want to create the simple snoop device for industrial cyber security systems.

Is such scheme can work? Is it possible to configure ICs by only straps?

I'm not very clear about the requirements for snooping in your application, but the following application note has more details of different configurations that might meet your need.

I have read this AN.

Logically, it's possible connect DP83849IF and DP83849I by MAC interface to get RX as shown in figure, is it correct?

Can I do configuration by only straps?

Hi Evgeny,

The snoop mode has to be configured by register RBR (register 17 - RMII and Bypass Register)
