I am having an AWR1243 connected to UB953 serializer, which is connected to UB960 Deserializer in the fusion board through 16 ft FPD-Link coax cable. The radar use-case works successfully when I use this long FPD-Link cable. However, when I tried using a very short cable of 0.5ft (same manufacturer), the serializer and sensor is not getting detected through FPD-Link cable. Could anyone tell me why the serializer and sensor is not getting detected through short cable but works with longer cable? Is there any setting that needs to be modifed?
In the SDK 3.6, for UB960 register configuration for AEQ_MIN_MAX [BspUtils_Ub960I2cParams gUb960Cfg_D3AR1243()], register 0xD5 was initiallly set was 0xC0 and then written as 0xF3. Since I am using shorter cable, I tried changing it to 0x53 instead of 0xF3. But this did not solve the problem. Is there any other thing to be changed? I checked that the connector and cable used in both 16 ft as well as 0.5 ft appears same.
