TMDS to CML converter/Translator

Hi,

We have a Fpga which supports a TMDS 3.3V differential output and we want to interface it to a CML logic acceptable device, is there any converters for this application.

not sure, but you can just pullup with 50ohm resistor followed by a capacitor

Hi Brian,

Did u mean just by giving a pullup 50 ohm to 3.3V will make it a CML logic?

Hi Brian,

This the AC coupled version of CML for converting into LVDS I believe.
Do you have any device which can support converting the TMDS (3.3V) signal to CML logic (3.3V) ?

The physical layer for TMDS is current mode logic (CML), DC coupled and terminated to 3.3 Volts, so why do you need a converter?
