Hi Team,

The data sheet has a description that supports LVPECL and LVDS as inputs.

It seems that there is an internal termination resistance,

can I connect directly to this IC whether LVPECL or LVDS on the driver side?

Hello Shidara-san,

There is no internal termination, so you do need external termination. Please see this app note for appropriate termination/biasing (assuming you have DC-coupling): www.ti.com/.../scaa062.pdf .

This device is designed for PECL. It can accept LVDS signal as long as it is within the input common mode range which is 1.2V to 3.3V.
