DP83867IR: Which pin is the led GPIO

Hi,

I am using the PAP version of the chip. In Chapter 8.5.2 of the data sheet the 4th led ( RXD7/GPIO ) is mentioned but on the pin list the RXD7 is not having it's GPIO function mentioned.

Instead the device has two other pins with GPIO function :RX_ER / GPIO and COL / GPIO. Which of these is the one to whom I can assign LED fucntions in register LEDCR1 bits 15:12.

Hi Sebastian,

To configure RXD7 as a LED_3 pin, you need to set register 0x171, bit 15:12 to 0110.

Then register LEDCR1 bits 15:12 can be used to configure the LED_3 to perform the function you need. By default, it will be on when 100 Base-TX link is established.

Thanks , What is confusing is that pin descriptions does not mention secondary function of RX_D7 as GPIO, but indeed the reg 171 clearly says it is RX_D7
