TPS25810: Type c base on application for charging 5V 3A

For Type C base on application just for charging 5V 3A with reference of BQ25883EVM design.

Does the application still need to use both TPS25810 and TPS2514D?

If yes, what is the reason and purpose.

    Hi Zhao,

    TPS25810(CC1,CC2) is pure type C protocol handshake device and TPS2514 (D+,D-) is BC1.2 type A DCP charging protocol handshake device . If the terminal production application is pure type C port it don't need the tps2514. But most case the production need support both type C and type A , so suggest add tps2514 . It base on customer production feature requirement , thanks!
