SN65DSI85: Issue with displying Test Image pattern

The timing information, mapping format, and DE/HS/VS pulse polarity. The parameters referenced in this video, essentially: training.ti.com/configuring-sn65dsi85-dual-channel-dsi-dual-link-lvds-operation

Thanks for the training video, I was able to use that information to display the Test Image pattern and I have attached the file that was generated using the DSI tuner. It looks like I cannot post .dsi file, I will email it to you.

I uncheck the Test pattern generation and use the new parameters to send an image pattern but I see black screen. 

I read back 0xE5 register as 0x01 after writing FF to it while 0xE6 reads back 0x00.

Thanks for your feedback, I still am not able to display picture in LVDS mode. Can you give me feedback on the IRQ registers (0xE0, 0xE1 and 0xE5)?

I read back the following values from the ASIC after initialization:
0xE0 - 01
0xE1 - FD
0xE2 - 01

Hi Ranga,

If you are reading anything other than 0 in registers 0xE0 or 0xE1 then it is your ASIC that is writing them, since the default value for these registers is 0.

If you are reading 01 from register 0xE5 after clearing it by writing 0xFF to it, then there is probably an issue with your DSI CLK. Make sure the DSI CLK frequency is correct and that you are following the initialization sequence in the datasheet.
