THVD1450: internal resistor value of receiver

Part Number: THVD1450

Hello,

I have a question about receiver's internal resistor value.

This training video (https://training.ti.com/rs-485-overview

  • Sorry, the question is not posted completely.

RS-485 overview training video says that every RS-485's receiver has internal resistor for bias function and attenuation.

In THVD1450 case, how much is the resistor value of internal resistor?

Could you tell me how to calculate?

    Thanks and best regards,

    Ryo Akashi

  • Ryo,

You can roughly use R1=240kOhm, R2=23kOhm, R3=15kOhm as the equivalent resistance. These values come from the IC design. Please let me know if you have more questions.

    Regards,
    Hao
  • Hello Hao,

    I understand.

Thank you very much for your kind support.

    Best regards,
