Hi Expert,

I want to use UH948 + UB921 for my solution. It seems work. https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface/f/138/p/663455/2469290?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=DS90UB921-Q1

But the host only has RGB 444, I think it needs to connect UB921 MSB. Does it work? Thanks!

Hello,
as you can see the attached E2E, for this issue, you should dig out the root cause step by step in terms of 921/948 diagnostic function:
1. check the 948 link and panel with 948's pattern gen.
2. check the 921 and 948 link with 921 pattern gen.
3. check 921's input signal is correct or not.

Hi Steven,
It's a plan project, not real. Just want to make sure the host RGB444 format can be accept by 921+948.

921 and 948 just is one serdes, any data in 921 parallel side would be mapped to 948's LDI's output.
if you use 12bits, it can work as well, the other 12bits would be "noise".
from the video format viewpoint, the 12bits can't work in 948 side.
