Hi Guys

Can our DS100BR111 device support SGMII redriver? How determine which type of protocol interface we can support?

I just see the SGMII 1.25Gbps and only need two I/O port(RX and TX); Our device also has two pair differential ports（RX and TX）10Gbps. So I think it can support this. But not sure whether it is correct by using this parameters.

Your feedback are very appreciated.

Hello-

The DS100BR111 can support SGMII protocol, however, DS64BR111 is a closer fit given that SGMII runs at only 1.25 Gbps. Also, please refer to the following thread for additional options:

Thanks Davor. So if we have to judge whether our device can support SGMII. what are the key factors？ Channels？voltage level？ differiencial or Single-End？ translation rate？

I will add that the DS100BR111 or DS64BR111 support SGMII in AC coupled mode. The DS25BR100, DS25BR110, and DS25BR120 will also support DC coupling with SGMII.
