Compiler: ds16ev5110asq EQ Booster register setting difference value is not useful in disitance

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

When debug  DS16EV5110ASQ  EQ Booster register ,the output extension distance is not changed , but though seting exteral hardware part ,the function is OK . so pls give me guideness how to enbale the EQ booster register function,thanks!

    Hi Roger,
    You mentioned through external hardware part it is ok. Please clarify what you mean by this?
    If I understand you correctly, you are saying if you use SMBus register to set boost you have problem but when you use BC_2 through BC_0 device correctly equalizes your cable? Could you please clarify.
