Let me post a question from our client as follows. Thanks in advance for responding it.
We use DS92LX1622SQE/NOPB deserializer on our board. Lately, we have been having issues with the Vss being connected to the ground plane through 16 vias. Our PCB manufacturer has not been able to properly fill/tent the 16 vias and because of which Vss is connected to the ground plane with no more than half the recommended number of vias. We know that this is what is causing noise issues with our boards and we are in the process of working with our PCB manufacturers on ordering type 7 vias to make sure that all 16 vias are making proper contact with the ground plane.
We have been wondering if you guys have had similar problems with filling/tenting vias on the de-serializer and if there was something that you could recommend.
