TUSB7340: downstreams of tusb7430 can not work

Sorry to bother you

We use tusb7430 on nvidia jetson but the downstreams of tusb7430 can not work.

Is there anything we need to take care ?

lspci can shows the device.

Hi Brian,

We use xhci_hcd driver.

Are these external USB ports? Is VBUS on? Does either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 work?

Hi Shu_Cheng,

You should be able to see the USB devices using lsusb.

What devices are connected downstream of the TUSB7340? Can you confirm that the ports are powered?

The downstream port didn't power on, looks it's to be disable?
But upstream could.
So how to turn on the downstream port? from hardware or software?

What upstream port was enabled? The TUSB7340 is a host and doesn't have an upstream port. Can you externally power a device and see if it connects? This way we can determine if it is just a VBUS issue or a driver issue.
