DP83822H: Crystal load capacitance

In the data sheet of DP83822 Load capacitance for 25Mhz crystal is defined as 10pf-40pf.

Data sheet also mentions CL1 and CL2 in ""Figure 35. Crystal Oscillator Circuit""

Load capacitance is it CL1|| CL2 or is it the individual value ??

Hi Rakesh,

The load capacitance used should be that which is defined by the crystal datasheet.
CL = (C1*C2)/(C1+C2) + Cstray

CL is what is defined in the crystal DS. Cstray will be that of the IC pin capacitance and track capacitance of the PCB.
