Could you provide a schematic for review? If the hub operational? Can the downstream devices be detected by your USB Host? What is the configuration for SMBUSz/SS_SUSPEND pin? For default operation this pipn should be tied high or left unconnected (use internal pull up). Please give more details on your issue.

SMBUSz/SS_SUSPEND pin is suspended, internally pull-up;The downstream equipment can be detected. The equipment is connected to three industrial cameras. Could you describe the difference between when using an external EEPROM and when not using an external EEPROM? Could you give the configuration of J100 and J101 during your test? Is it possible that the cameras are going into a low power state? Can you confirm if the USB traffic is idle between the cameras and the USB Hub? Are the cameras USB 2.0 or USB 3.0?

Could you explain which switch in the switch array is on vs. off? the new schematic seems to be the same at the old schematic.
