    Is there a specific reason why you or your customer is using the CG variation of the TPS65987D? The latest version a is DH, and so we recommend that all customers move to this new Silicon

    As far as the schematic you sent, the only change that I recommend you make in relation to the PD controller is to change the pull up resistor value connected to the I2C lines from 0 ohm to:
    - 2.2k ohm for SCL & SDA
    - 10.0k ohm for IRQ

    I would recommend that you reach out to Karl Fleischmann. We are pushing most if not all of our customers to DH, but there are a few exceptions that we have made. Karl can inform you more on the support plan for our silicon and whether your end customer needs to move away from older ROM versions such as CG.
