Hi,
I am using TUSB320 IC in my design.
Currently, I am facing an issue of auto selection of Mode configuration (Host/Device/Dual).
Please see below schematic for your reference.

Hi,
I have traced CC1 pin voltage as below.
Table-7, CSR Registers Bit Address and Description
Rgister Address: 0x0A
DRP Mode: bits[5:4]: 11
Host: 0V
Device: 0V
Not connected: 0V
DFP Mode: bits[5:4]: 10
Host: 0V
Device: 4.5V
Not connected: 0V
Let me know your view.

Hi,
We are not able to get waveform as we are getting High and Low only as per previous data shared with you.
We are plugging our Linux PC as a Host and our board as a device. And another stage we are keeping our board as a host and external USB device as a device.
We are probing on CC1 pin as you instructed earlier.
Our query is while keeping in DRP mode we are not getting any detection of either as a host or a device.

Hi,
To clarify, your device is not able to complete role detection when connected to a USB Host or USB Device correct? Is it possible that TUSB320 is not properly enabled during test, meaning that EN_N is not meeting the following criteria below? Is the external control signal behaving as excepted?
"If controlled externally, must be held high at least for 50 ms after VDD has reached its valid voltage level."
Hi Malik,
Thanks for your quick support.
It looks like we are able to solve it and able to detect as a HOST or Device.
As per datasheet, I have considered below reference design.
And Our design has R447 on EN_n pin of switch, which was creating this issue. I have removed it and our problem got resolved. Please see below our schematic.
Kindly let me know if my understanding is wrong.
Awaiting for your response.
Thanks once again.
