SN65176B: SN65176B damage issue

Dear all:

50PCS sample board, all of SN65176B damage,replce use others production batch, test ok! the below test impedance to gnd's contrast,if have good advices for the issue.thank you!

pin normal abnormal1 abnormal2 abnormal3

pin1 0,659 infinity infinity infinity

others pin's impedance is normal.

Abnormal IC, main board insert power, but don't press power up key,PIN4 votage is 1.8V, PIN8 votage is 0.8V, when press power up key, SN65176B smoke and damage.

Normal IC, main board insert power, but don't press power up key,PIN4 votage is 3.3V, PIN8 votage about is 0V, when press power up key, SN65176B normal operate.

MCU support 3.3V stand-by power to PIN4 and PIN8 5V don't power up when don't press power up KEY.the below is the sch.

Hi Xiaowei,

It looks like the schematic image didn't post correctly - can you please try to send it again? And, can you please let us know the date/lot codes (or top-side markings) for both the normal and abnormal ICs? In general I don't know of an issue with applying a voltage to the D input without having VCC powered.

The normal IC : 75MMNDH, 86MMNDH

abnormal IC: 79MACLKG4, 7BMACLKG4

That's strange, and I'm not sure what the issue would be. I sent you another email with a few direct email addresses to use that should be able to receive external emails. Let me know if you still have problems.
