TPS65987D: bcdDevice setting

I'd like to set bcdDevice, but the value during PD negotiation is always 0x710 even if I set other values in 0x47 bit.88:103.

Would you tell me how to set bcdDevice?

Hi,

This value is currently set in device firmware and is based on current revision. There is no way to change it in Application Configuration.

Does this mean that only TI can assign bcdDevice?

Yes, this value is set in the firmware on a per device/revision basis. A new version of a device will have a different bcdDevice value to allow it to be distinguished in products.
