TUSB320: Evaluation GUI for TUSB320

We are currently in the final selection process for components and we have been looking at your TUSB320 product. As there is no EVM software to monitor and configure this IC, we have found it harder to evaluate and have therefore been looking at alternative components with a simpler evaluation model & reference design.

We are very likely to go with the competition, unless TI can provide an application (EVM/.GUI) to easily evaluate this component?

    Carlos,

    TUSB320 can be configured over GPIO or I2C. Please see the TUSB320EVM on ti.com (link below). If customer wants a simple method for configuring the EVM they can use the DIP switches on the EVM. TUSB320 I2C interface can be used with most general purpose I2C controllers however we do not have a GUI for the I2C interface. Why is the customer finding it hard to evaluate TUSB320? What issues are they running into?
