     I have some AEQ setting problems as below:

  

how to set a fix EQ?

Please help me to see the settings there, so that I can't set a fixed value for EQ?

    Hello Yisuan,

    Are you trying to manually set the strobe and EQ position or just set the EQ position and have it increment through different strobe positions?

    If you are trying to manually set both the strobe and EQ..
    - power up
    - 0x41 = A9 (for optimal startup)
    - 0x42 [0] = 0 (this indicates manual adaptation)
    - set desired strobe positions through register 0x8C
    [6:4] controls data delay, [2:0] controls clk delay, [7] data delay buffer, [3] clk delay buffer
    - set desired EQ level through register 0xD4
    [7:5] EQ select 1, [3:1] EQ select 2, [0] = 1 to disable adaptive EQ , [4] decide if LCK status dependent on AEQ.

    Here is a great appnote that may help you in understanding. It goes over using the Margin Analysis Program that is that is built into the ALP for the 954.
