HD3SS3202: Maximum current rating of mux switches.

I have an application where there is a potential for the high speed signal lines to be shorted to ground. I need to know the maximum current rating of the high speed signal switches to make sure they don't get damaged during this short condition.

the switch is on or off for the pin grounded.

The switch is on and current is flowing from the transceiver through the mux to ground.

on resistance is 5ohm, current is depend on DC voltage on the channel. normally there is AC cap on the channel, so current should be very low.

In this application the channel is DC coupled. The voltage on the channel could be as high as 2V. I need to know the current rating of the switch so I know how much resistance is needed in the channel to limit the current.

there is no current limit for the channel on, not sure if the source can handle the current 2v/5ohm=400ma.

as long as input voltage meet spec, it should be fine.
