Hi team,

Do we have the Vp-p data requirement with the device DS110DF410SQ_NOPB for QSGMII signal? The datasheet only have the 10G signal data. Thanks.

    Hi Frank,

    The lower datarate could accept a lower minimum launch amplitude if needed.  There would be no issue to have a 400mV input signal at 1.25 Gbps.

    At this lower rate you may also need to adjust the CTLE setting since the device will not adapt when the frequency is in the VCO/8 range of operation like SGMII.

    If the input side of the link is < 12" of FR4 then I would recommend to use a Channel Register 0x3A setting of 00'h.  The default setting of A5'h is quite a high level of boost.
