DP83848I: TA-bits are not indicate 0x10

Hello E2E,

The TA-bits of DP83848I are not indicate 0x10 in our circuit board for test.
Please tell me what caused it.

MDC and MDIO patterns are verry short, therefor I think that parasited capacitanse is nire null.

Hi ACGUY,

The PHY needs a 1.5kohm pull up resistor on the MDIO pin. Are there multiple PHYs using the same MDIO-MDC bus?

No, PHY is one. So I wonder this.
If there are multiple PHYs on same MDIO-MDC bus, does communication problems occur?

Hi ACGUY,

If there are multiple PHYs on the same MDIO bus with each PHY having a 1.5kohm resistor then all the pull ups will be in parallel and the total pull will be too strong.
