TPS65987D: TPS65987D GPIO event to differentiate adaptors

I would like to use TPS65987D GPIO event to differenate below 4 kinds of adapters.

1. 20V/3A, 60W

2. 20V/2.25A, 45W

3. 15V/3A, 45W

4. 12V/3A, 36W

I am thinking to set 4 fixed sink PDO in sink capabilities and then use "Port 0 Source PDO 0 Negotiated" to indicate which PDO is negotiated. Could you help comfirm if this works? If not, do you have other recommendation? Thanks.

Hello Nic,

Yes, if you set each one of these to a sink PDO, and tie a GPIO event for each PDO being negotiated, then this should work. You will need to allocate 4 GPIO's for this configuration.

Thanks Adam. Take 20V/2.25A for example. Is my setting corrent in FW?
