Hello guys,

      someone help me i am in trouble in the sessions of RS485. i am using RS485 for communication purpose,can i conncet RS485 in normal uart channel .it willwork or not.if it is worked which communication it communicate (half or full duplex)

    Hi Gobinath,

    Yes, it is common to connect RS-485 transceivers to UART ports in order to extend communication over cables and to multiple nodes. Whether the communication is half duplex or full duplex is up to the implementer's choice of network topology and transceiver.
