What is the best isolated RS-422 part for the following requirements:

- Full duplex

- Speed 500kbps - 20Mbps

- Isolation voltage doesn't matter

I am interested in parts with and without a isolated supply, but more focused on parts that don't require an isolated supply on the board.

The ISO1412 is our latest isolated full-duplex RS-485/RS-422 transceiver. It has a max data rate of 500kbps. While it doesn't need an isolated supply to function, the system would need one to preserve the isolation barrier throughout. Would you be able to explain further about the isolation needs of the system?
