We are trying to replace ISP1106 with TUSB1106 in our released product. Our USB connection is like Figure 10 of the data sheet, internal regulator mode, we also connect Vreg 3.3 to the microcontroller general input to double check the Vbus connection. However it seems not a drop-in replacement.
Based on the competitor cross reference page of TI, the compatity code is Q: The TI device has the SAME FUNCTIONALITY AND PINOUT as the manufacturer's device, but is NOT an exact equivalent.
So would you mind providing more about their difference? I did see the review about the successfuke replacement. But it is in our repleased product, there is software compatibity issue as well, so your answer or information will be very helpful.
