PCA9306: Excessive leakage current

Part Number: PCA9306

Hi Support team

y customer is measuring excessive leakage current. In the data sheet, figure 14 , you are suggesting adding a resistor to ground to sink 4.5uA, My customer is measuring 31uA. I can send a schematic via email once signed.

  • Hey Jeff,

    The expected current from Vref2 to Vref1 is an equation of: [Vref2- (Vref1+~0.6V)]/Rpull {You can see this in figure 13 where no pull-down resistor is used}

    You should measure the voltage at the enable pin and the resistor value using a DMM to double check values.
