XIO2001: Question about XIO2001 PCIe WAKE#

Part Number: XIO2001

Hi Sirs,

Sorry to bother you.

We have an early case uses the XIO2001 PCIe to PCI bridge and recently received feedback from the end customer that it was unable to shut down.
After analysis, it is found that when the system enters S3 or S4, the Wake# of XIO2001 will be pulled down first, and the system will be woken up again (the back end is not connected to the PCI device).
So we would like to know,

1. Under what circumstances will XAKE2001's WAKE# be issued? Can you help clarify this issue?
2. In addition, does the external EEPROM need to earn F/W?

Our schematic as below. Thank you.
