TPS65983B: TPS65983B USB TID number

Hi,

I want to double check, are you being asked for a tid for 83b? My experience has been one is assigned to the product after testing is complete.

I do not have a TID for 983B now.

I would encourage you to double check the testing process. When devices are sent for compliance testing, a TID is given after passing. An product will require a separate testing process and receive its own TID. Make sure the requirement is for product TID or not.

根據TI 說法, “TID is assigned AFTER TESTING”, 不過我們產品還沒過 GRL 測試, 不會有 TID (而且我們做的是Thunderbolt 及 DP的認證, 應該跟USB-IF沒什麼關係).
GRL在問的卻是983B 的TID, 不是產品的TID.
因為我們對於 USB那邊認證的流程不熟, 不清楚983B通過USB-IF認證後是否會被 assign一個TID.
