TPS65987D: RCP design for ideal diode mode enabled

Hi expert,

Customer is asking for TPS65987D RCP operation in ideal diode mode. I cannot find the operation in TRM. Could you kindly help to guide me how to enable ideal diode mode for RCP operation? Thanks a lot!!

    Hi Ann,

    The TPS65987D will automatically set the RCP to either ideal diode mode or comparator mode based on the type of contract we are in (Source or Sink). This is not configurable by the user, it is set to the correct value automatically to ensure proper protection.
