LMH0397: Behavior of LMH0397 at No Power Input

Dear Sirs,

My customer asked us about behavior of LMH0397 at No Power Input.

１．If an external HD-SDI signal is input while the LMH0397 is in the No power Input state, does the LMH0397 fail?

　By the way, his circuit is the same connection as "LMH0397 Typical Application Circuit" in the data sheet.
　The HD-SDI signal is input to the "SDI_IO +/-" pin.

And he has one more question.

２．Will the LMH0397 fail if it operates with the supply voltage below 2.5V?
　　For example, when the power supply voltage is 1.2V to 2.0V.

Please let me know above questions.

Greetings,

1). If LMH0397 is powered down and signal is applied this does not cause any failure for the LMH0397 device. The LMH0397 device is AC coupled and this prevents device from being powered up.

2). LMH0397 CDR requires 2.5V +/-5%. Device has not been characterized at other supplies and operation is not guaranteed.
