Even though the SN65LVDS4 only comes with one channel, would it be able to receive LVPECL?

Hi An,

SN65LVDS4 cannot reliably receive PECL input directly, since the PECL voltage can exceed max input voltage for LVDS4.

However, if you are open to single channel receiver like SN65LVDS4 or SN65LVDS1 (which also can work with 2.5V supply), then it may be possible to interface the PECL signal to the LVDS input using the techniques described in this app note: www.ti.com/lit/an/scaa062/scaa062.pd .
